Harington Type 1a

Small ? 12-13 mm dia.? Most, but not all, were produced with a tin coating. The privy marks are located on the base of the obverse crown, between the sceptre legs.? Recorded pm?s are A, B, C, D, F, S, millrind, pellet and ermine.? The Harington ?fret? is found at 2.00 o?clock on the reverse.? The millrind piece has an upright die axis, all others being rotated.
